The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers & Trainmen’s S.M.A. Meeting Planning Committee cordially invites you and your family to join us for the 85th annual meeting in sunny Florida at Walt Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort near Orlando, Fl. We are trying to make your visit to the Orlando area a memorable one for your family. YES, this year the reduced rates are available to your family and friends. AT LEAST, one person in each room need to be registered with our convention to qualify for the rates. So, we have a new lower cost registration option for non- B.L.E. & T. members to join you on this unique opportunity to explore Walt Disney World with so many discounts. B.L.E. & T. members MUST register as such to be able to participate in the union members only activities. The non-member registration will make the discounts available, but not the meeting activities, the tours, and the included perks (such as a planned private character breakfast). *** Normal character breakfasts WILL be available at normal cost & locations to everyone else.

The planning committee, made up of members of Division 35 (Amtrak) and Division 769 (CSX), is hard at work putting together an exciting, relaxing, and family-oriented fun-filled experience for you. For meeting attendees, there will be classes and workshops available to sharpen your skills and workplace knowledge, as well as the opportunity to make contacts and new friends with other railroaders from numerous railroads who are dealingwith many of the same issues and problems. PLUS, we are scheduling ample fun and family time, not only within the meeting week’s agenda, but for up to 5 days before and 6 days after the meeting week at the group rates provided to us by Walt Disney World. Room rates will be available from June 19 - July 5 inclusive.

Lastly, we hope that B.L.E. & T. members, their families, and friends will take away new and useful knowledge, new contacts, and family memories that will be yours for decades to come.
